Lynx Lake – Group Campsites

Lynx Lake Prescott AZLynx Lake – Eagle Ridge Group Campground sits between tall Ponderosa Pines within the Lynx Lake Recreation Area. Within 1/4 mile of the group campground.  The Eagle Ridge campground has two sites: The Osprey site can accommodate 26-75 people; the Peregrine site can accommodate 15-25. Groups may reserve one or both.

Lynx Lake, a popular campground and fishing reservoir, is stocked with rainbow trout and holds  largemouth bass and crappie. There is a boat ramp, and boats with 10-horsepower  motors or less are allowed, as are canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and sailboats. An  easy 2-mile hiking trail rings the lake, and other nearby trails are available for hikers and mountain bikers.

Eagle Ridge Group Campground Facilities:
2 group campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, barbeque grills, picnic shelter, and electric outlets and lights.

Camping Fees: Camping fees remain $18/night for a single site and $36/night for a double site. The NRRS does charge a reservation fee; $9.00 for internet reservations and $10.00 for reservations made by phone.

Beginning in March 2013, campers will be able to make reservations online or over the phone seven days a week. Online reservations will be available 24 hours a day at www.recreation.gov. Reservations can be made over the phone by contacting the Call Center at 1-877-444-6777; it operates on Eastern Time Zone from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm from November 1 to February 28 and 10:00am to midnight from March 1 to October 31 (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day).

A private concession at the north end of the lake offers boat rentals, a store, firewood, and a restaurant.
